Haddenham Streetscapes Update

A village-wide streetscape study reviewing options to create a better balance of pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles is now underway in Haddenham.

Haddenham Parish Council, with funding support from Buckinghamshire Council, has appointed placemaking consultants PJA to look into options to transform key areas in the village to improve access and movement.

The study builds on the work undertaken as part of the Haddenham Neighbourhood Plan, and will be carried out over a number of months, concluding in Summer 2022.

As part of the development process, PJA have worked alongside the Parish Council and the general public to utilise Buckinghamshire Council's bucks.place survey to record “things people like, key issues, and ideas”.

The data from the survey will be used to help shape the concept design ideas in the streetscape study and has been summarised on three plans produced by PJA, which can be viewed below:

The team will be hosting a workshop session in the Village Hall in April 2022 where villagers will be able to find out more about the initial ideas and provide feedback.
