Haddenham Hedge Project

The Haddenham Hedge Project is an initiative project to improve the biodiversity of our hedges in Haddenham.  Working alongside Future Nature (who are part of BBOWT) the Council will be surveying sections of hedgerow to access current 'hedge health' and look at ways to improve the ecology of the hedge to create stronger habitats for wildlife and protect the natural green corridors of Haddenham.

Volunteers are needed!

Can you spare a few hours of your time?  No expertise needed as full training will be given.  All we need is enthusiasm and an interest in the nature!  Join us for our workshop at the Parish offices on the evening of 21st April with survey days on the weekend of 16th -17th May 2026.

It's vital we protect our hedges.  With increasing pressure for development in the village, many hedges are at potential risk.
