Funding for Home Energy Improvements

Boiler Upgrade Scheme - provides grants to property owners to replace fossil fuel heating systems with low carbon heating systems such as heat pumps or biomass boilers.
Better Housing Better Health - helps Buckinghamshire residents to keep warm and well at home and improve the energy efficiency of their homes by providing free, confidential advice about switching energy suppliers, maximising income, signing up to the Priority Services Register and accessing financial support.
Energy Doctor Scheme - Run as part of Better Housing Better Health, Energy Doctors can advise on ways that eligible households can reduce energy consumption and costs and put in place suitable low-cost easy retrofit resource efficiency (LCERRE) measures, such as draft proofing and hot water cylinder insulation.
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) and ECO+(Great British Insulation Scheme) Qualifying households are eligible for support from their energy company for insulation and heating system upgrades to make their homes more energy efficient and reduce energy bills.
Home Upgrade Grant (HUG2) - The Home Upgrade Grant provides energy efficiency and clean heating upgrades for properties that are off the main gas grid.
