our dedicated team as a Grounds and Property Maintenance Operative. This role
comes as we bring our maintenance services in-house, ensuring our community
spaces are cared for with local pride and attention to detail.
About the Role:
As a Grounds and Property Maintenance Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining the attractiveness and functionality of Haddenham's recreation areas, buildings and public spaces. You’ll be responsible for:
- General grounds maintenance, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, litter picking and leaf clearing.
- Basic street furniture and buildings maintenance.
- Caring for newly planted trees and plants.
- Maintaining pathways, playgrounds, and public facilities.
- Assisting with community events and projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in grounds maintenance or a similar role is preferred but not essential, we value a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for outdoor work and community service.
