Grounds Maintenance Contract – AWARD NOTICE

Following an Extraordinary Meeting (19th June) and expiry of the Standstill period (21st June), the Parish Council has formally awarded the contract to the Tivoli Group.

The Parish Council is currently out to tender for the provision of grounds maintenance of the Parish Council's land, open spaces, and devolved services.

Key Information:

The contract term will be for a period of two years and five months, commencing on 1st July 2023 and expiring on 31st December 2025. At the discretion of the Council, the contract may be extended for a further year.

Haddenham is an ancient village with links back to the Domesday Book. It has developed over the years and encompasses conservation areas, a nature reserve, and many amenities including sports pitches, play areas, and village greens.

In recent years, Haddenham was designated a strategic settlement area and there is currently a significant expansion of residential homes. This is providing the Council with additional facilities and responsibilities, which will add further areas to be maintained and incorporated into this contract with due notice.

The Council has also elected to take on devolved services from the principal authority (Buckinghamshire Council) to undertake the maintenance of verges, footpaths, and hedges within the Parish.

Any questions relating to this tender must be raised in writing no later than 17.00 on 17th April. Questions should be addressed to the Facilities Manager, Mr Ian Final, by email.

It is important to the Council that you familiarise yourself with the topography of the Parish prior to tender submission.

The Council has allocated dates for site visits with an officer of the Council on 27th March and 4th April. Appointments can be booked via the Facilities Manager, Ian, at facilities@haddenham-bucks-pc.gov.uk or by calling 01844 292411.
