Resignation of Cllr Rihal

The Parish Council is sorry to have received the resignation of Cllr Kuldip Rihal, and would like to wish him well for the future.

Cllr Rihal's resignation creates a Casual Vacancy on the Parish Council, which may be filled either by an election or by co-option. If ten electors of the parish request the vacancy is filled by an election before 14th March then a by-election will be held. If no election is requested then the Council will be able to co-opt a new Councillor at its next meeting on 8th April 2024.
