Resignation of Cllr David O'Hanlon

Published: 27 July 2023

The Parish Council is sad to be saying good-bye to another of its long-serving Councillors, David O'Hanlon.

David joined the Parish Council in March 2012 and has served on all the standing committees of the Council during his membership, most notably serving as the Chair of the Finance and General Purposes Committee since May 2017  and Vice-Chair of the Council since May 2018. His leadership was instrumental in ensuring the Community Orchard project was a success and has led one of the most active Climate Emergency Committees in the county. David's finance skills have been invaluable in helping the Parish Council manage the impact of growth of the village to ensure it is in a position to maintain its assets, take on new responsibilities and plan for future projects. We will miss him and wish him the best for his move back to London.
