CPR & Defibrillator Training

Thank you to everyone who joined us last week for CPR and defibrillator training run by South Central Ambulance First Responders at the Conference Room in the Village Hall.

It was great to be able to share vital life-saving skills with the local community!

What are defibrillators?
Defibrillators or AEDs (automated external defibrillator) are medical devices that can give a casualty’s heart an electric shock when it has stopped beating normally, to help the heart re-establish an effective rhythm.

Defibrillators can be used on adults or children over one year old and can help save a life during a cardiac event.
