Sports Pitch Maintenance Operative Vacancy

This is a new role that has been created to ensure the Council maintains its sports pitches, playing fields and associated recreational areas to a high standard, ensuring they are safe, well-presented and fit for regular community and sporting use. The postholder will work as part of a small, grounds maintenance team and will take particular responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance and preparation of sports pitches. The role will involve regular contact with local sports clubs and users, helping to ensure that facilities meet their needs while balancing this with the Council's wider responsibilities for the management of its recreation grounds. The successful candidate will be practical, reliable and able to work independently while also being a supportive member of a small team.

£17.47 per hour
15 hours a week with days and hours flexible
Location: Haddenham
