Townsend Community Orchard wins prize

We were delighted to hear Townsend Community Orchard has been awarded a runner-up prize in the Wild Aylesbury Vale Competition!

The orchard is a wildlife friendly space for villagers to enjoy and features a mixture of fruit trees (with fruit for residents to pick!), areas of long grass and wildflowers, and animal shelters. There is also a small seating area with log benches for use by community groups.

Well done and thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who work hard to ensure the orchard remains a welcoming space for villagers and wildlife alike!
