A large recreation ground which is very well-used by the local community. In the winter months, it has a number of football pitches which are used by local football teams. The football gives way to the Cricket Club in the summer. There are a number of all-weather tennis courts, including the recently installed mini-courts, which are very popular and used all year round. 

 

 Old Airfield site, Tibbs Road

There has been youth football played near the old Airfield site for a number of years. Following the transfer of land from Cala Homes Spring 2021 we are delighted to be providing new football pitches for these teams to enjoy. The football teams will benefit from excellent new facilities such as new car parking and a new purpose-built sports pavilion.
