The Parish Council takes great pride in maintaining Haddenham’s War Memorial. We work in collaboration with the community who tend the flower beds to ensure it remains a respectful focal point of the village.
The War Memorial is the focus for Haddenham’s Remembrance Day parade in November. As part of the ongoing maintenance, the Council was pleased to replace the path surrounding the memorial in time for the First World War Centenary celebrations in 2018.
In Spring 2023, the iron railings were removed and completely refurbished and painted. The re-instated railings look incredibly smart and the Parish Council were delighted with the result and the positive reaction from the community.
