Snakemoor Nature Reserve is supported by the Parish Council but is heavily reliant on a team of volunteers. Offers of help are always welcome! It is an excellent way for parishioners to be able to help improve the environment they live in.
There are about four working group meetings a year, usually on a Saturday morning. It can be a fun way to meet like-minded people and put something positive back into the community.
Specialised interested parties are also welcome. This could be monitoring a particular species; being involved in bird / butterfly counts, monitoring of the soil etc. Please contact the Parish Office if interested in any volunteering opportunities.
