Haddenham Neighbourhood Plan

These pages are one of the communications channels for the dissemination, discussion and compilation of information concerning the production of the Haddenham Neighbourhood Plan.

AVDC made the decision following the Haddenham Neighbourhood Plan Officer Report, to accept the examiners report and the Neighbourhood Plan proceeded to referendum on 16 July 2015, in which 86% of those Haddenham residents who voted agreed that AVDC should take the Haddenham Neighbourhood Plan into account when deciding on planning applications in the village.

In the independent examiners report on the Haddenham Neighbourhood Plan it was decided that a public hearing was not necessary and has recommended that the Plan proceed to referendum with some modifications. Read the final plan that will go to referendum below or follow this link to Aylesbury Vale District Council's website to download the plan and all the associated documents.

The Neighbourhood Plan was submitted to Aylesbury Vale District Council in January 2015 who undertook their own six week consultation until March 2015 and the plan was then submitted to an independent examiner, Nigel McGurk. Thank you for providing feedback on the final plan during the two statutory six-week consultations.

Haddenham Parish Council agreed to pursue the development of a Neighbourhood Plan in April 2013. A request was submitted to Aylesbury Vale District Council to designate the Parish as a Neighbourhood Plan area. A steering group of community organisations was convened to take this process forward.

Haddenham Parish Council was assisted in the development of the plan by Community Impact Bucks, Planning Aid England, URS and NPIERS.
