Council Responsibilities & Objectives

The Parish Council has a responsibility for the following:

To set and spend the village precept
To receive and comment on planning applications
To provide the village hall
To provide allotments
To provide seats and shelters including bus shelters
To act as a voice of the village to other layers of local and central government and to outside bodies

The Parish Council has the power to take on responsibility for the following items if it wishes:
