Continue to let allotment plots . Plots continue to be let. There were nine people waiting in January 2008. Thanks to David Yates for his work during the year. Ongoing tree planting. Continued great work by David Rankin our Tree Warden with the help of donations from Haddenham Rotary and the Beer Festival. 63 trees planted in the year.
Install new allotment frontage fence . A new post and rail fence has been installed on the Townside frontage. Continue programme of updating street lighting. Roger Hannaford out street lighting volunteer has reported 90 faults in the year and continues to regularly monitor the situation. We record our sincere thanks to him.
Install new water tank . One water tank has been installed and a second purchased and is awaiting installation. Snakemoor access. Not achieved but still a priority
Repair allotment track/roadway . 25 tonnes of scalping have been added to the track. We await delivery of a six tonne half-load for completion. Every child matters – keeping children safe.  We continue to work with the Safe Walking and Cycling Group, the PCSOs and others to discuss the safety of children in the village.
Communications Committee
Chairman Adrian Austin-Crowe Church End and Banks ponds renovation. Work in progress at Church Pond.
Produce a Village Newsletter every quarter. Four newsletters have been produced and distributed with accompanying ‘flyers’. We express our thanks to the team of volunteer helpers. Land search for burial ground. As this is no longer a requirement of the Parish Council our search has been scaled down.
Produced the Parish Council Annual Report. Done Finance and General Purposes Committee Chairman Mike Cousins
Set up Parish Council website. Planning has moved ahead with specification completed. Research has produced likely contractors. The funds are in place. A domain name has been agreed. To compile an Asset Register. A3 page Asset Register has been completed and agreed by the Parish Council and the Auditor.
Planning committee Chairman David Trusdale
View all current planning applications. The committee has reviewed 114 applications for planning, hosted two well attended public meetings and consulted residents on key applications. Put into action repair of Village Hall Roof. The repair of the Village Hall roof was underway at the year end at a final cost of £28896.08
Conceive and review all fowards planning documents from local authority and statutory undertakers. We responded to various statutory bodies on local plans and proposals. There has been continuing discussions on conservation issues. Undertake study of children’s play area.  Two Councillors are undertaking a study of requiremenets and have carried out a survey at the three village schools.
Continue to pursue potential burial ground sites. As there is no longer a requirement of the Parish Council our search has been scaled down. Consider Cycle/footpath around playing field. Detailed discussions with the Safe Walking and Cycling Group and the three school co-ordinator. The scheme is supported in principle.
Purse registering Common Land Registry . Not yet completed. Consider CCTV upgrade. Done
Continue with poster marketing plan. Programme now completed.
Carry out repair to witchert wall in Banks Park. Done
Remedy the damp in Banks cottage. Done
